Ecolab is seeking a Senior Training Manager for their QSR & FRS divisions.

In this role, the Training Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that employees within the QSR & FRS divisions receive effective and comprehensive training related to food industry protocols and practices. Your strategic leadership will contribute to maintaining the highest standards across the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing a long-term training strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and prioritize initiatives. And creating a curriculum that facilitates strategic training based on the organization's objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Develop strategy and leadership for the Learning function

  • Develop relationships with and understand the training needs of global associates and stakeholders (HR, Talent, Regional Managers)

  • Participate in SMT/SLT meetings to understand divisional priorities and share training updates

  • Lead a team of two training managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback

  • Oversee field onboarding training for QSR and FRS new hires (Learning Academy and Foundations)

  • Upskill global CAMs and SDMs through targeted development programs

  • Champion Development Season and other enterprise initiatives (Leading to Thrive, One Ecolab)

  • Represent Specialty divisions with the Ecolab Learning team

  • Collaborate with Human Resources on Talent projects and PP&D/Talent Assessment Education / HR support when needed

  • Perform responsibilities of Workday Learning Content Contributor

  • Support Differentiated Development programs like Manager Essentials and Leader Coach by being an anchor facilitator and sending communications to eligible participants

  • Manage vendor relationships (NEHA, NRA)

  • Analyze training data and translate it into compelling stories for stakeholders

  • Coach and develop the training team members on training skills, latest trends in the industry, and best practices and manage their PP&D process

  • Execute tactical tasks for the training team like scheduling time off, approving expense reports, leading team meetings, and managing L&D budget plan and spend

  • Lead divisions to embrace a more effective and strategic use of technology (Microsoft, EMS, Connect, apps)

  • Communicate with and influence stakeholders, especially senior leaders

  • Demonstrate willingness to take risks and embrace change to provide more effective learning experiences

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8 years of professional work experience

  • 4 years of people management experience

  • 3 years of years of food industry and safety knowledge and experience

  • Immigration Sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of management experience

  • 10 years in a training/teaching role

  • 5 years of food industry and safety knowledge and experience in a learning capacity or as a sales representative

  • Demonstrated leadership experience

  • Strong analytical thinking expertise

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strategic mindset and ability to align training initiatives with business objectives

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and cross-functional partnership skills

  • Previous experience supervising a remote team

  • Proven ability to teach, coach, and support others to succeed

  • Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback

  • Familiarity with Competency Models

  • In-depth knowledge of Ecolab policies, protocols, and programs

  • Experience or expertise with the following: Microsoft Office, LMS (ideally Workday Learning), Easy Generator (or Articulate), ADDIE, Instructional Design, Bloom's Taxonomy, Learner-centred principles, ROI
